Laundromat on the Corner

Synopsis

A man falls in love with a woman he meets at a laundromat. She will change his life. Forever.

Josh (Eric Slodysko) is recently divorced, broke, and working as a home health aide. When he meets Ming (Stephanie Pham), a beautiful employee of his local laundromat, her kindness and apparent interest in him fills his dreary life with meaning. But as their relationship begins to blossom, a series of strange and ominous events are set into motion as it is revealed that Ming strikingly resembles a former laundromat employee that committed suicide - long before Josh was born. Ultimately, their mutual desire for human connection leads Josh to question if it is necessary that the connection be - human. Written by Rain Trail
